She is also the principal contact
person of the firm.
Prior Experience
Roy is an experienced Corporate, Banking & Finance Lawyer who founded
Nambogo & Co. Advocates in 2010. She advises on regulatory and
compliance matters for local and International business entities, Local
and International Commercial Banks, Local Microfinance Institutions and
Institutional Lending entities and Non Profit Organisations.
With over 10 years’ experience in the field of Banking and Finance, Roy
advises three leading Commercial Banks in Uganda, acts as transactional
advisor to one of the leading Institutional lenders in its Financing business. In
Land & Real Estate, Roy advises ongoing development projects like Mirembe
Villas- Kigo and Jakana Heights-Konge. She also represents individual clients
in transactional purchase/sale/leasing of commercial and residential
properties.
Small and medium business owners/investors engage Roy on matters of
Corporate Governance, business operations and contractual matters. She
is also a Non-Executive member of the Board of Directors of a Government
agency and two Non Profit Organisations in Uganda.
Before working full time at Nambogo & Co. Advocates, Roy worked with a
leading Regional Commercial Bank as In house Counsel and prior to that,
served as a volunteer Legal Assistant at the Legal Services Department of
Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital, UK.
Musoke Ronald
Advocate/Senior Associate
Ronald is a dynamic and committed attorney mainly practicing Family & Estates Administration Law, Banking & Finance Law, Land and Real Estate Law and Canon Law.
He hold a degree in bachelor of laws from Uganda Christian University and a post graduate diploma from Law development Centre
He is a team player who delivers cost effective legal representation in and out of Court to family estates, medium businesses, Companies and Commercial Banks. In Estates Administration, he assists families navigate the emotional path of estate distribution while managing the usual anxiety of beneficiaries to estates.
His Banking practice entails advising Commercial Banks and Lending Institutions on how to mitigate risks associated with advancing financing and undertaking due diligence on Bank securities by processing registration of charges thereon.
Ronald is also the legal advisor of the Registered Trustees of Church of Uganda, Mukono Diocese, and his mandate involves representing the Diocese in and out of Courts of Law to litigate/Arbitrate land issues which helps the Diocese reduce its litigation expenses. He also heads the pro bono unit at the Firm.

I am in charge of the accounts and finance of the firm. I joined the firm in 2021.

Ms. Ruth Tumushabe, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Office Management and Secretarial Studies from Nkumba University. She joined the firm in 2012 and she is responsible for general office management and operations of the Firm.
